A River Blue vocational training program finished first month of training.

March 1st, 2008

2 ARB youth have been selected to attend 1 year catering/hotel management course.

February 10th, 2008

2 ARB youth have been selected for the vocational training programs outside of A River Blue.

February 5th, 2008

20 ARB youth have been selected for the vocational training program which includes English, tailoring, agriculture and business.

February 4th, 2008

27 ARB youth have been selected and are now supported with secondary school fees.

Renovation of ARB Vocational Training Center is complete. Check back soon to see pictures.

January 13th, 2008

Classrooms will be complete in two weeks allowing 20 students to begin vocational training in tailoring. Argiculuture education will also be taught to the students. 30 additional students will be sponsored in secondary school.

This Saturday, August 18th, 12 pieces from the A River Blue collection will be be for sale at in Los Angeles at Art 4 Africa, a benefit soiree sponsored by Empowerment Works to support programs in Sudan, Zimbabwe, Senegal and Northern Uganda. 14 pieces from the A River Blue art collection along with a 24 minute documentary will be exhited at the University of Maine's WITHOUT BORDERS exhibition which opens tonight in Orono, Maine. For more information please visit Without Borders.
