Prior to arriving in Uganda, Joseph Arthur had written the lyrics to " A River Blue," the song that shares the project's name. Magically, shortly after Joseph and Chandler Griffin had their inital brianstorming session, Chandler became aware of children's choirs being established at IDP (internally-displaced persons) camps in northern Ugunda and suddenly the project began to take shape. Joseph's music and lyrics were sent ahead to the camps for the children to practice. You can listen to the results below.
